Issues - Prison Reform

The Network:

• Organized a Prison Reform Task Force that meets monthly via conference calls. Contact chair  Kate Warner (734-663-1820) or   Jeannie Miernik (517-927-3453)
  

• The Task Force heard expert testimony, discussed legislative reform strategies and held a workshop at the Tides of Change conference.
  

• The Network adopted a resolution to join the "Campaign for Justice" to reform Michigan's failing public defense system (see link under Actions).
